How do I get StayMap?

StayMap is in public beta for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Open our TestFlight invitation, install Apple’s TestFlight app if prompted, then accept the invitation and install StayMap.

Is the beta free?

Yes. You can try the current public beta for free through TestFlight. StayMap is still evolving, and your feedback helps shape what comes next.

Is it only for hotels?

Hotels, vacation rentals, apartments, and other stays all have a home here. Keep the place you stayed separate from how you booked it, whether direct, through Airbnb, Vrbo, or another platform.

Can I bring in my past trips?

Absolutely. Add a past stay manually or import a confirmation from text, screenshots, or a PDF. Review the details before saving. Past stays become part of your map, Passport, and travel totals.

Does StayMap sync or connect to hotel accounts?

The current beta keeps your journal locally on your device. Cloud sync and live hotel-account connections are not available. Loyalty balances are saved manually, and you can export a backup from Settings.

Can I share a booking with someone?

Yes. Preview and share a readable itinerary or a StayMap booking file. You choose whether to include confirmation and arrival details. Shared bookings are independent copies; later changes do not sync automatically.
